Oxford Law Review welcomes original and rigorous scholarly contributions from academics, researchers, legal practitioners, and emerging scholars across jurisdictions and disciplinary backgrounds. The journal provides an international platform for research addressing significant questions in law and related fields, including jurisprudence, legal theory, legal history, humanities, and the social sciences.

The journal accepts doctrinal, theoretical, comparative, historical, empirical, socio-legal, and interdisciplinary research, provided that submissions demonstrate academic rigour, originality, methodological soundness, and a substantive contribution to existing scholarship. Contributions engaging with emerging areas of legal inquiry and research that examine law across jurisdictions or disciplinary boundaries are particularly encouraged.

All research articles undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. Manuscripts are evaluated independently on their scholarly merits, including originality, analytical quality, methodology, engagement with relevant literature, clarity of argument, and significance of contribution. Editorial and peer-review decisions are independent of any Article Processing Charge.

There is no submission or peer-review fee. Authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. No payment is required at the time of submission, and payment does not guarantee acceptance or publication.

Each published article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), providing a persistent identifier for citation, discovery, and scholarly reference. Article metadata is prepared for international scholarly dissemination and discoverability through relevant academic repositories and research-information systems.

Oxford Law Review encourages authors to engage with scholarship across jurisdictions and disciplines and seeks to provide a transparent and internationally accessible publication environment. Authors should consult the journal's Author Guidelines for requirements concerning manuscript preparation, formatting, references, originality, declarations, and submission procedures.

The journal also recognises exceptional scholarly contributions through its USD 500 Research Prize, awarded in accordance with the journal's applicable criteria to an author whose published research is selected for its originality, significance, and contribution to legal knowledge.

Authors are expected to comply with the journal's standards of academic integrity and publication ethics, including requirements concerning originality, proper attribution, research integrity, conflicts of interest, and responsible scholarly conduct.
